terms

The terms, in plain English.

What this website is, what the published prices mean, and what is deliberately not being promised.

Who you're dealing with

Sidecar // the studio is a one-person studio run by Michael from Coffs Harbour, NSW. It is a service-area business rather than a shopfront, so there is no address to visit. Contact is by phone or email, both in the footer of every page.

This page isn't the agreement

These terms cover the use of this website and the published prices on it. Actual work is done under a separate written agreement signed by both sides, and where that agreement says something different from this page, the agreement wins.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of being accepted by clicking something. Sending the form starts a conversation; it doesn't buy anything and it doesn't commit you to anything.

The published prices

The prices on this site are published deliberately, in Australian dollars: the AI visibility audit at $495, a website rebuild from $1,500 to set up, and the Growth Partnership at $895 a month. Working within an existing site that already has search visibility is priced higher, because replacing something that ranks carries more risk.

Ad management is separate and optional: $600 a month for Google Ads, or $750 a month for Meta Ads.

Final amounts are confirmed in the written agreement before anything starts. Prices on this page can change for future clients; they don't change under an agreement already signed.

The audit credit

The audit is charged as a one-off. If you go ahead within 30 days of receiving it, the full $495 comes off the setup fee. After 30 days it doesn't, which is the only condition attached to it.

The audit documents what the assistants currently answer and what should be done about it. It is a finding and a plan, not the fix.

Ad spend is never marked up

If ads are running, the budget is paid by you directly to the platform, at cost. Sidecar never handles, marks up or takes a percentage of ad spend. The management fee above is the only thing Sidecar is paid for that work.

What you own

The website, its content and the domain are yours outright from the day it launches. Not licensed, not leased, and not held on your behalf.

If the arrangement ends, all three go with you and the handover is documented. That is the entire point of the offer, so it is the term least likely to move.

What isn't promised

No guarantee is given that you will rank in a particular position, be named by any AI assistant, receive a specific number of enquiries, or reach any revenue figure. Anyone promising those things about search results is promising something they don't control.

The assistants change which sources they draw on without notice, and search engines change their ranking systems without notice. What is committed to is the work itself: the pages, the Google Business Profile, the reviews groundwork, the monthly re-run of your question set, and a monthly report that tells you plainly what happened, including when nothing did.

Term and ending it

The Growth Partnership runs for a twelve-month minimum and continues month to month afterwards. Foundation clients run for six months instead, in exchange for publishing their results.

The written agreement sets out the notice period and how to end it. Ending it doesn't affect what you own.

This website's own content

The text, design and code of this site belong to Sidecar // the studio. The published prices and the answers in the FAQ are written to be quoted — by a person, a search engine or an AI assistant — and quoting them is fine. Copying the site wholesale is not.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be limited by agreement.
